Official starting points
About this desk
North Dakota Education is an independent navigation and community utility operated by Stratmeyer Analytica. It is not a state agency, school district, law firm, or replacement for an official source. We build the connective tissue: a fast route to the right district, a readable starting map for home educators, a source-attributed news index, and a moderated place to exchange practical local knowledge.
Editorial standard
Official records and first-party organizations are preferred for rules, calendars, school data, and activity schedules. Aggregated headlines must identify and link to the originating publisher. Substantive pages display the date of review. Corrections remain part of the operating workflow rather than disappearing into an inbox.
AI and automated updates
Automated tools may collect public metadata, detect changed pages, and prepare update candidates. They do not convert unverified text into official policy. A source link is not an endorsement, and a model-generated summary never outranks the underlying public record.
Corrections and contact
Found a closed district URL, changed calendar, attribution problem, broken page, or board concern? File it directly into the desk queue. You will receive a reference on screen even when email delivery is unavailable.
Privacy and membership terms
Information we use
Membership uses an email address, Stripe customer reference, plan, status, and an irreversible hash of a private browser key. Stripe processes payment information; the site does not receive full card numbers. Contact tickets contain what you submit. Public board responses do not include member email addresses.
Community
Public posts are moderated and may be removed. Do not publish student records, home addresses, private schedules, full names of minors, phone numbers, email addresses, or government identifiers. Posting access is a participation privilege, not ownership of the forum.
Recurring subscriptions
Prairie Briefing is $1 per month and Prairie Neighbor is $5 per month until canceled. Access follows Stripe- or PayPal-confirmed subscription state. Manage Stripe billing from the authenticated account page or PayPal billing from PayPal Automatic Payments. Membership purchases are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun, except where law requires otherwise or a duplicate charge occurred.
Important limits
Educational information is not legal advice. Calendars, laws, policies, and links change. Verify consequential decisions with the relevant district, agency, or current statute. This independent site is not affiliated with NDDPI, NDHSAA, or a school district.
Store and fulfillment
Store prices and shipping are shown before Stripe checkout. Physical goods are made to order by Printify, which receives the shipping and contact details needed to manufacture and deliver the item. Address mistakes must be reported before production begins. For a damaged, defective, or materially incorrect item, file an order-help ticket with photographs within 14 days of delivery. Made-to-order goods are otherwise non-returnable unless applicable law requires a remedy.
